Animal Hospital Policies
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
We do not provide the classic "drop-off" appointment. Over the years we have learned that in order to provide the best medicine, it is imperative to obtain a complete history for all patients.
If you feel that you may be more than 10-15 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, we ask that you call us and arrange for a new appointment time.
Patient Arrival Policy
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we require you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
Please tell a receptionist right away if your pet has been coughing, sneezing, having diarrhea or vomiting. For the safety of our patients and to decrease the spread of disease we may ask you to wait with your pet outside until an appropriate exam room is available.
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. In special circumstances or for extensive procedures, a deposit may be required before your pet is treated. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, CareCredit, cash and personal checks. For payment inquiries, please contact our Hospital Manager.
